You guys will get a kick out of this.
I have a bent footrest bar where someone jacked it up with a forklift at the salvage yard I bought it from. Here's the original picture of the damage:  Here's how far it is off from square to the frame:  I don't have any torches to get that solid bar heated up enough to bend it back. I've been meaning to take it somewhere, but today I figured I'd try to bend it back without heat. So I pulled my truck up on one side to hold it down:  And here comes the car to drive up on the other side. I put a block of wood on there as a ramp, and used another piece of wood to protect the tire from the metal bracket.    Squish...  And now it's square. hee hee...where there's a will, there's a way.

I'm going to try and bang that footrest back into shape, but the 1450 I bought has a really nice fender pan that I may use instead. If I can't get it back to real nice shape, at least close will be good for the 1450, which will either be the cabin mower or will get sold later. ...and yeah, that too will require some big heat. I've been keeping an eye open for a decent deal on used torches, or I can make a trip to my nephew's place to use his.

Good to have a parts Cub handy in these times  That foot rest has a nasty set in it, and will be tough to get straight. But I am not a body man either! In the right hands and some time It might be corrected.Fork lift got the 147 foot rest, bent it down, and got the deck bars and bent one of those too. Regards, Chris
