Great looking 149!!! It is going up a very steep incline, too. I usually rotate my pictures in my own graphic program before posting them on here......that or lay on your side when you are taking the pictures.

Great looking "snow ready" cubs guys......keep the photos coming so I can get some ideas how to set up my winter cubs!!

What kind of plow is on the front of that hockey tractor? It looks like there is some kind of feature to change the blades angle? Great paint jobs! The black chassis look really nice.

Thanks, both tractors were total restorations. The blade is actually an old David Bradley/Sears blade. The mounting mechanism is a home made thing given to me by a friend. It is neat in the fact that when you raise the blade it stays perpendicular to the ground, it does not tilt backward as a regular IH blade does. Unfortunately there are no trip springs so you better know what your plowing is smooth, or don't have the blade all the way down.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
