Looking good there sbd-3. Even though the 126 is rare I haven't seen a lot of 106s either

Default Cubs

Thanks Terry...I like them all... I was glad to get the 106 and 126 as i thought they would be the hardest to find.....The fact that the 126 ran and the 106 only needed a plug was a bonus .......

Finished shoehorning in a k301 in my dad's old 100. He bought the tractor in the late 80's for $300. Mowed with it for years until it kept burning up rings and parked it. Its all original except for the front wheels and the motor now. Since the original paint is still good, repainting would be a waste so going to take some rubbing compound to it over the winter to clean it up as well as get the correct tires on it so it will mow level. I'll get more pictures when it gets all prettied up. Took it for a test mow since it hasn't been used in 20 years, compared to the my 127, this sucker can really throw grass.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
