Thanks,
This 460 pulls a brush hog, box blade and trailer around. The cub does a better job with snow removal. Wish I could afford a FEL for it but they cost as much as the tractor is worth.

Here is my 129, purchased it after it had been sitting outside for a few years, no maintenance had been done for a very long time so I did a lot of work to it over the fall and winter in between jobs here at the compound. overhaul engine, the engine is out of a 1450, stripped the little jewel down to almost nothing, cleaned her up and a quick paint job to hold her until next year, I have purchased a QA42A snow thrower for it, pictures to come next week, wheel weights and chains, that will be my summer vacation, along with my spring that will include cleaning the deck and painting it.
I will post pictures of it as soon as I get some more free time here at the compound.. Keep up the great work, a ton of nice real tractors on this site. |

Ending up selling the 102 and 124 last year but.... I drove 9 hours round trip from ky to tn to pick this 70 up.
I got what I thought was a great deal. First is the pic from ebay and how I picked it up and second is how it sits now with the skinnier front wheels and temp tires and deck removed. I ordered tri ribs for the front and 6-12 tru powers for the rear last night. ![]()

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
