He got rid of it because the lift was too slow or the tractor was too slow?

If it's the latter, I'd some something is worn or out of adjustment on your drive line lever. Before I took mine apart for restoration I went on a quick spin around the circle drive and it was scary fast.

Go through the drive lever linkage all the way to the end of the line. Sounds like it's not getting full articulation. Even worn out and tired, my 147 was zipping around like a go-kart before I tore it down.

It’s plenty fast enough for a hydro I’m not sure what he fully meant by it was to slow
