Sorry to hear about this Allen. Pets certainly are man's, and woman's, best friend.

Guys, we really appreciate all the kind words! Last night was very hard. We're thinking of taking a trip to get us out of the house for a few days. I broke down reading everyone's posts. Thanks again, guys! You all are the greatest!

Allen

Nothing is going to replace Jake, take a trip to the local shelter and get a rescue dog for a new little buddy. It will be good for all of you. You and Jenn met our little mutt, she was a rescue that was rejected the 1st time around, she's nuts but she fits in perfect with us.

Allen, so sorry for your loss. I have had so many buddy over the years they were family and it takes awhile to recover. But like Sam said there are a lot of little guys at shelters that sure could use some one as nice as you and Jenn.

Thanks so much for all kind words, thoughts and prayers. This is tough but we know God will get us thru this. We are going to take some time to grieve and heal then eventually we may look for a new little buddy.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
