A lot easier than painting right Tim? I've found out it's much more forgiving and not so many steps to get a good result like painting. A friend of mine bought out a powder coating business and I've been dabbling with it, pretty cool how it all works

I got it last night around 10:00, after an hour of talking cubs I hit the road for Carrolton KY and got to the hotel around 12:30. 5 1/2hrs later I'm back up to go pick up the 1282 before heading home.

Good news,I knew you were wanting to get up there to pick it up. I put the carb on the 1050 last night and she fired right up. Smoked a little then cleared up. When I get time I will run it some more then decide which engine to go with. I am out of the dog house now because I sold the other tiller and a goKart last night,I might have to give that 682 near me another look now

Push mower is cool! Cub Cadet Yellow sample you made looks like a Cub Cadet Yellow!

1620 miles is a lot of ground. Hope you got cheap gas before crossing back into PA state border. For me, the Silverado is comfortable for the long haul. I hope it was the same for you!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
