Congrats on the pull start! No deck or plow to go with those chains?

Nice pull start Lew. Now you need to have Nick come over and learn how to start it. Let him pull and pull and pull.............................................. ...Then turn on the gas......

Nice "O".

A pastor at a church I belonged to told us a story once; "i went to go start my rototiller (he was big into gardening) and I yanked and yanked and couldn't get it to go, then realized the gas was off." it still makes me laugh thinking about it to this day.

Not me,I like Nick,

Did some work on the motor today, fixed the missing bolt on the bearing plate , cleaned up the oily mess it left.changed out the wiring for the points and magneto.
Tomorrow I will see how it runs...

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
