This past winter was heavy, so I ended up taking care of 6 driveways all winter for neighbors that needed help... Not because I like them, just because it was FUN!

I'm not surprised that this group helps others, especially the elderly. There just has to be something greater than $$$ and I think helping the elderly is one of those things. I also take care of my neighbors when needed and even though it makes me tired and sometimes sore I do get a warm feeling from doing it. This past year I also received a plate of fresh cookies still warm from the oven. At that moment those cookies were worth the $30 they would have had to pay someone to do their driveway. I have to admit,,,,I plow using my old Sears GTV16 that is setup for snow plowing all year round. No seasonal equipment change needed. It always sits around with her plow, chains and wheel weights just waiting for the snow. Another benefit of having numerous tractors.
Good job guys! Randy

Last week, helped out guy next door. His push mower was down for a couple of weeks, so I knocked down his back & side yards with my 800. He had loaned me his snowblower twice a few years back when my sno-blo was broken, waiting on the correct parts from sears.
So, it was kind of a pay-it-back-n-forward thing. Plus, I got more seat time.. ![]() ![]()

I have always helped out my friends and neighbors when I can . I have been paid in cookies beer and money donations . I would just do it for the seat time. The only thing that will get you in trouble with the cops is drinkin a beer while driving a cub on the street , Don't ask me how I know .

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
