LOL well this is a long story on this one. My wife is a crafty lady does quilts, part of a quilt guild. A lady in the club mom passed away and lived just around the corner from us. they have a garage sale my wife goes to while I was at work. she finds an old steelmaster card cabinet to match my 60's HON executive metal desk I have. she buys it for me and comes home to get the 2 wheel cart and some straps to drag it back home. goes back to the sale and the brother of the family sees my wife trying to get this home. takes it home for her and sees the other garden tractors and tells my wife he has 2 cub cadets that where his dads on the farm in Cavour. he don't use them and sees I collect them so he might be willing to sell them if they where not going to get parted out because they have family ties to him. so after months and months of talking he finally decides ya he will part with them. sends me a couple text pics and I tell him I am interested in them but not till spring has killed the snow. 3 weeks later he call and says I am coming to Huron I just bring them over to save you a trip. he had them out in rapid city at his farm and hauled them 375 miles to my door. so I hate to say it thanks to my wife I got these two tractors.

no it aint you it is sort of a pain to get in and out of it. and it needs super steer on it. after driving the 71 with super steer and the snow plow, this needs super steer.

That is so cool. Thanks for the close ups, plenty of room for the reservoir and that pump although does the exhaust get the fluid super hot? And you have some A/C's and maybe a Simplicity it looks like too?

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
