A cub cannot be outstanding unless it is willing to stand out and yours certainly does!
A job well done and with a hydraulic lift, too. I do think that it would look more finished with a clutch guard, but that is only my opinion. Great looking tractor!!!! Just in case you are interested: In order to have it work with your hydraulic lift, starting in the middle (engine side of it) cut a slit 3/4" at the top of the hump. Then from the hydraulic lift side, cut a straight line up to meet that cut. That should accommodate your hydraulic lift belt...it did for mine and the good news is that your clutch cover is still in tact as one piece. Cub Cadet 123

That really came out great! Did you use spray cans to repaint it or did you get a gun? It looks outstanding!

What a very sharp 125. Good to see these brought back to a great looking, working tractor. Thanks for posting the before and after pictures.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
