Folks sorry for the delays on these pictures.
Here are some shots of the blade and show cart. The blade is done and assembled except for the lift rod. Have to get a IH decal for it! I did use stainless bolts for the wear blade attachment points. Used Nate's idea on setting the springs and it worked great. Basically remove the pivot rod and let the frame assembly come forward with the center pivot point used as the leverage point (near the small rotating lock). Attach both springs and use the frame assembly as the lever for stretching the springs back towards the home position. Very safe and easy. Only minor paint touch up required. I bought two more carts one for this blade and one to hopefully make the granddaughters a barrel train ![]() This is the last of the implements for now. Regards, Chris

I think it looks great. I want to find one for my 147 before winter so I can move snow with it.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
