Hey Fireman, nice score!!!! Thats always nice finding something like that with all those extra goodies. BTW, I just talked with the guy that has the 1650, and turns out it doesnt have the rear PTO. With that said, I think you did very well staying up there and getting that smoking hot deal!

David with it being a hydro it shouldn't have it but I thought the ad said rear lift on it. Maybe I need to call him. I better not I don't have no more room for another one.

Thanks guys. I cant wait to get the "O" ready and put the plow on her. I stayed up late last night at the FD working on them. Looks good so far. I think the clutch is stuck on the O. Need to get it a part and clean. It had been in the shed awhile. The same guy has a fully redone A/C Big Ten he will sell to if anyone wants it. It has the rear PTO and is really nice, but wants $750 for it.

You are correct, currently the ad does say rear lift. BUT, last week the ad said rear PTO. Thats why I called him today to clarify. He said his dad described it as a rear pto when really it was just the rear lift yoke sticking out. He said his dad isnt very familiar with these old gems.

The 1864 is next for me. Then I get to work on the project rear pto after that. Well after I build the 108, sell the 122, 71 and 72 and parts just so I got room to park the cubs I've got. I'll have the 61 O, 125 FEL, 1650 and the 1864 and then I'll be out of room for any more. The rest of them have to go!

I hadn't seen the older ad on it. You need a 1650!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
