Awesome vid! I hope, I get to see the snow roll of my blade like that, if we get any.

Default 1450 With Plow

I picked this 1450 up in IN at the end of November. And the plow in IL (Couldn't find a blower) Only 4-8 link chains! As some weren't there. All together it cost $250, needed a good cleaning on the carb, and bolts for the air cleaner assembly. No side panels, but looks good without them. A little smoke when she starts but after I drop the plow and get to work, no smoke. Going to do a rebuild come spring, probably going to keep the paint original though, any thoughts? I am going to add a 2 way valve so I can get the angle plow attached! A short video and pics, sorry so short! This road does have tons of pot holes but when plowing haven't felt one yet. I do need a spreader so I can put down some sand! Right now after the rains the other day, you can ice skate down the road.

Here's the video during 6" snowstorm. It was a windy one.

I wish that would happen. Its a private road that gets 14 school buses flying down it a day. The city forces us to upkeep it for them! They say their is NO-PUBLIC use for them. What about the buses? All their construction traffic? Last summer they nit picked all the little pot holes and I was out there with a ax cutting up the asphalt and poured concrete in the holes. If I chose not to, they would have fined us $75.00 a day! So it was the option of fixing the road, getting fined $75 a day, or pay the city $100,000 to take the road off our hands. 120 60lb bags of concrete is what we did. The only good part about this? I get a road to clear the snow off with my IH Cub.

I lived on a private road in Wilmington Mass back in the 1980's.

The contractor built the road too narrow by a couple feet, so it was never accepted.

We were lucky, the town took care of the road for us.

I feel for you!! The neighbors would have never agreed on buying 1 bag of concrete!!

I do not know the story on the road, but here were a couple ideas I had to keep people off it.

Put up private property/violators will be prosecuted at there expense signs.

Put up a locked gate.

Have a weight limit put on the road. 3 ton max would keep the buses and construction vehicle off it.

Put up toll road signs , and stand out there when the buses come, charge them to use it.

Finally if it is your private road just park a truck sideways in it. I don't see how they can stop you from blocking your road.

We have a number of private roads around my area. The only stipulation on them is that they must be passable by emergency vehicles if there is a dwelling on it.

This is my first year using a 782D on the snowthrower. I asked my wife to take a vid of me blowin the drive. She waited till I was done then came out and took this super short vid as I took few swipes off the lawn.I love the 782D It blows snow even better than my reg 782.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
