I've always wondered how it would look replacing the yellow paint with red. It looks awesome! will have to do one like that myself!

Probably not making custom stacks. But would be glad to give any one hints or ideas on their own. I was having trouble with the hydro adjust last night. I did the brake adjust per the book and had that done first. I remembered posts on here about trunnion wear.  Looked at mine from under the tractor and realized it was in need of repair. Off comes the elec lift and cage, off comes the seat, tear off the fenders, and find the well worn trunnion staring me in the face.I did a quick fix on this after studying it for a while. And here is the result. I decided not to take it off but to weld on a new piece of steel to keep the springs aligned. When completed with the trunnion repair I adjusted the hydro with out the fenders on (from the top) and this seemed to work real well to find neutral. Re assembled all the components and started tractor. Seemed good!  Still need help on the electrical. I replaced the IH ampmeter with another ampmeter, and it still shows discharge most of the time. HELP! Regards, Chris

Larry,
Great minds think alike. I did not see a reason to take it (trunnion) all apart. Adding the extra piece of steel seemed like it should help re-center the spring pack. Haven't taken it out and tried it yet but seems to be ok the few times I went forward and backed up in the garage. Where are all the electricians? I checked across the battery with the multimeter while running and got like 18 volts or something? Cant remember But thought that maybe this thing is charging OK?Allen, I did take a video but its too big to get off my phone. I may try again for a shorter time. Regards, Chris

The reason you take one apart is to clean the shafts that the plates turn on. Those shafts get rusty and won't allow the two plates to slide freely. You won't be in any better shape than when you started if you don't.
