Seems to work good. Now I'm ready for some grass cutting time.
Great idea!

If you get a chance can you snap a picture. That has always been my beef with the 48GT deck.

Will do, I've just been lazy with the pics of this critter.

Spent the day cleaning the pig pen of a shop. Even tossed out Cub stuff that I have been saving for years. You know the I may need that some day and when you need it you can't find it kind of stuff.

Travis

Here are the pics of the flaps on the GT48 deck. One side is about 14" long the other is about 17" long. I have 29" of belt left over if you need it. I used 1/8"X1" flat bar stock welded to the top of the front where it turns up. 1/4" X 1" bolts. The belt is 4" wide hay bailer belt from TSC, they are proud of it. $22.00 for a 60" roll

Thanks for the pics and offer Sam. I have a huge roll of conveyor belt, so I should be good. That roll plastic might work for this too. I had better get on the stick. The grass is getting greener everyday.

Well the 2264 is my official favorite Cub. Mowed with it for a couple hours today. I do need to get a set of loaded Tru-Powers on it though. Way to easy to spin the tires with the crappy Cub tires. Flaps on the front of the deck work better than I had hopped. Pic of the top of the deck is after mowing.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
