Thanks Guys!! It is a nice addition to the fleet. I found several issues with it today but I'm working them out right now. Got the gas leak figured out, it's the tank I'll need to rebraze it. I have another tank I'm getting ready to put on it. Trying to fix problems and get her back together

Jude, you dog I'm hoping you never find your way here to WI. Cause if you do, I'll be sittin' here on my porch, with a plug between my cheek and gum, with my sawed off shotgun by my side.
Cause you ain't buyin' up my cubs.
Congrats. on your new addition happy for you.
By the way, how big is your toy box anyway??

Thanks again guys LOL zippy, you crack me up

I've been working all day on this little beauty. It needed alot of tlc, so many little things screwed up on it. But I finally got it buttoned back up and she starts right up, although the choke needs to be closed. It does run real well and throttles up nicely, even with choke closed. Throttle shaft may need bushing to cure issue. Is there a trick to using a new cork gasket on sediment bowl?? I put a new one on and it leaks, tightned it down good and still leaks. Fixed the headlight panel, no headlight in it cause bracket bolts were messed up. Fixed that and put new bulbs and switch in. Fired it up and the headlights work nicely. Still need a rear Grote.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
