Joe, The dash has a crack at the bottom on the right side but not to bad. I'll get a picture and send it to you when I get a chance.

AJ, Problem is I need the motor for the 784. The clutch form the 1806 was trashed big time. I don't think any of it could be saved. I'm really looking forward to the 18 mag in the 784.

Well here's what it looks like tonight. Went through the carb and drained all the water from the fuel system, Had to get the starter to engage. and she fired right up. No smoke sounds great. Still need to go though it better and get it tuned up yet, but she runs good. I need to replace the oil lines they both are leaking from around the fittings pretty bad, but I'm not complaning. The dang steering wheel popped off with almost no effort what so ever. Took he nut off, lifted on it for a few seconds and off if came. Love that wish the one on the 784 would come off that easy.

Well this is what it looks like today. I need to go buy an oil line for the motor, and few things to tune it up. Going to try to have it ready to put in next Wed. I'm swapping out the front axle and steering column and changing the wheels and tires around. I got the tins from the 1806 cleaned up and installed on the 782, I'm using the hood from 782 but that's it. I can't wait to get the motor into it. Joe I'll send you a picture of the dash and you can let me know what you think. I still have a hinge here for you to.

Dan, I just cleaned it up with some rubbing compound, and just left the crack alone can't even see it.

Mike, That's Tim's 102. I have the 1806 in his garage. That 1282 on CL is very nice! Are you planning a road trip, lol.

It sure would look good next to it, but it would look even better next to yours! I think you need at least one more project, plus that one looks like it's ready to go .

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
