Thanks Bob, I just got it home late Sunday and have been too busy this week. I am going to try to get the carb rebuilt this weekend and the spring assist on it also. Don't know of any other thing that I could possibly have on it. I am sending you a PM also.

It doesn't need a spring assist if it has hydraulic lift.

I know it doesn't need it, but since it has everything else on it already, I thought why not go a head and put it on it. It is one of those just because type of things

Then you also better start looking for the rear PTO and hubcaps...

I don't think my pockets are that deep!!!!! Would love them at some point, but until I hit the lottery, I think it is going to stay the way it is. Correct seats are bad enough to buy in good shape, I can't imagine what the rear PTO and hub caps would set me back.

No need for the spring assist well unless you like throwing money away. Spend wisely not often.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
