Cub Cadet 123,
Thanks I brought it to work today and had our fab guy do it up for me. He actually just straightened the rod I had, rethreaded the end, put it back in and bent the j hook again. Works great!! When I get home from work I will get it back installed! Thanks for all the info.

Hey Matt
I appreciate the info on the rod. I once removed one from the bottom to clean it up and once I got it back in it always rubbed the inside the handle tube. Putting a new one in from the top and bending it once in sounds like a plan. It's good to learn something new each day. Thanks
