Clearing the driveway for the third time this week. Had around 10” total between Sunday and Friday. Having the homemade heated cab on the Kubota BX24 makes it less like working and more like playing.

We have not had too much snow here yet this year. Mostly just 2-3 inches at a time. I plowed with my 882 a few times. I usually have two or 3 Cubs set up for plowing, but I have also been using my Farmall Cub and recently resurrected a quad with a plow that I have been using this year too.

We have a plow truck too, but of course, they always break down when you need them. It ran fine all summer. It cracked a head and bent a valve, and has been down for a month now. Hopefully we get it back soon. Our neighbor let us borrow his plow truck since he can’t drive right now, but I don’t want to use that anymore than I have to. And it’s not street legal so I can’t take it to work to plow there. At least we have a snowblower there.

The gold one is mine, the green one is the neighbors.

Possibly you mean opposed twin M-18?
The "V" twins came later.
And yesssss, the double breasted Kohlers at full song have a unique sound like no other.
And if I have to explain it, one would not understand.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
