So I have some updates, I think the PO over filled the rear end. Oil coming out the top reliefs and also when I pull the plug on the rear it sprayed out.

I'm in agreement with the board identifying the cork gasket and possibly a relief valve being the major suspects of a leaking transmission. I like to allow the pump once removed to drain fluid so I'm not draining fluid during reassembly. I used w new cork gasket with the non sticky adhesive, installed dry. I used acetone for final assembly on the mating surfaces. I just done this on a 1650 yesterday for a customer friend with good results. Good time to replace the hydraulic oil filter if needed.
