Around here there is a saying----"pics, or it didn't happen".
Post some pics of the new toy when you can. Gonna have it ready to go by spring?

I’ll try to figure out how to post pics. I didn’t pick it up yet.
I was in my SUV, so couldn’t fit the deck in. Will pick up
tomorrow with a trailer. Looks pretty clean, but has been
painted all black. Helped keep corrosion in check I think.
What do these decks weigh? It was a handful just to stand
up to inspect!! Heavy!!!

I don't know about the weight, but its probably all 2 men want to pick it up, I've never tried. As you will quickly find out, this ain't no lawn mower grade deck. It's built closer to Woods belly mower quality if you ask me.

Pics are pretty easy to post, it will generally help to increase traffic on any thread you post.

If your spindles are shot, I can make new ones.

Picture shows extra blade clamps and extra thick washers.

Thanks Jeff, I’ll keep that I mind. I’m not doing anything with it
at this time. Winter is late here and we’re buckling down for
the inevitable!!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
