Ya, they are the auto ones. I got a good buy on them, so I decided to go for it. The release lever "flap" was broken off so I ordered a replacement, then I found those valves... that's how it goes.

I would shim #1 and leave the other two alone. 7 and 9 don't really wear all that much from what I've seen, and replacing #1 may not even help, since there is probably also wear on the trunion shaft, as well. It's the trunion slot that needs some help on yours.

OK another question.... If I fab up the fix piece for the trunion bracket, does the rectangle just weld on top of the existing one, or do you have to cut it then weld?
