I've always liked those. Seemed it took forever for one to sell where dad worked. I would go with him to work on Saturdays and got to drive that one in and out of the warehouse--in that neighborhood NOTHING could be left outdoors at night. Anyway, I used to pop the clutch and do some pretty good wheelies. I gues that's why you bought these, because you always want to know if somebodys new toy will do wheelies? The answer is YES.

Tim,

Those are really neat machines! I would've done the same thing... loaded them up!

I had a really nice 60 as a kid.. It had the forward and reverse pedals and man it would pop some wheelies!!

Dad took the deck out from under it and changed the front sprocket to gear it up some.. It was basically my first go cart.. we called it the Mow cart!!

Man I wish I still had it.. The stupid little thing was actually built quite well and was tough as nails! Fortunately it has both optional front a rear bumpers.. I never did manage to crack the body!

My Dad traded in the 70 due to the small yard we had for the 60, it came with a # 2 cart, we figured out the wheelie thing right away, ours had electric start.

Don't feel bad. I literally have a shed rented full of Cub projects that I won't get to "for a while", lol. You're not the only one!!

I dragged home a 85 back in 2014. Kind of the same circumstances as you. Sitting in the corner of the "Cub barn", but better than a landfill...

Glad to see I'm not the only one that thought they were worth saving. I'm excited to tear into them but just don't have the time right now so they will probably just get tarped until I get a few other projects done.
