The "drooling window licker" thinks well of this haul.

He's been thinking about this purchase for a while. We "ran the numbers" last week and agreed it was a good deal. Buying out a whole collection like that is a good way to get a deal. Sure, it's chunk of change at once, but if you had to buy all that stuff a piece at a time, it would have been half again more....

Better get the shed finished up Lance!! You need the room!

I see wheel weights...... I didn't know any of them had wheel weights.

I didn't either. It was a nice surprise when we pulled that one out of the shed. Though that machine is the one that gave us the most problems getting it on the trailer.

I would of had to make 3 trips to get everything, since my trailer was so small, but the guy loaded his trailer and followed me to the house.

That was a nice haul. Are you going to restore the 4 digit O?

Thanks everyone. Yes, this group will definitely keep me busy for awhile. I think I will keep the 4-digit original and restore it. These low ones don't come around too often, so I might as well keep it.

The 73 completes my 6/7 series collection. Now I'll have to go through and bring them all back to their original glory.

I don't see an 86 with all the other "6" ones that you list yet....

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
