Now you guys have me thinking about it. I have all the parts to make it a 71 except for the motor.
Gonna have to cogitate on that for a spell! Randy

Take the weights off and put on some good tires and wheels, that will give you a new perspective. Take the hood off too. After that all I see is faded paint.
![]() Might change your mind.

My biggest trouble is I have too many projects in front of it.
I need to do some work on one of my 149's so I can move my loader from a WH to the 149. Need to fix my 682, work on my Dakota and s10 blazer. Oh need to build another shed to store excess crap. Then the house needs painted, wife wants a bathroom in the basement. I am sure I am forgetting something! I need to triple my wages and get a football team to help me for the summer to get all the things done I need to do! ![]() Randy

This is how I do it: Just work on it a little everyday. Not 1-2 hrs, just a couple of minutes. But you have to do a little something everyday. You will be surprised what you get done in a months time. They don't cost anything sitting there.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
