those are the attachments you need for drag type implements. also check out some front mounted ones like a blade or snowblower. creeper gear is quite expensive but neat. fenders are also an option. oh and like randy said, we do just thow cub stuff in the truck. theres stuff sitting everywhere up here.:biggrin2.gif:

Ronin, my wife and I used to live in Dodge City and she is from Syracuse. If you find something on craigs list near Kansas City I can help you get it back towards western Kansas.

In PA, there's a shed marked "Take a Cub, Give a Cub" on every street corner.

Thanks AC.:biggrin2.gif:

It's in the shop right now, and I can't wait to see what it's like when they get done "refurbishing" it.

Ronin,

Thanks for the pics. Nice original condition 100 there.
Did you say the tractor is in getting refurbished?

Do you mean it's being tuned up or getting painted?

If so I can't wait too see the results

That rear hitch is mounted differently than I'm used to seeing.
Was it put on higher for traction reasons?

Please keep us up dated and some pic's when it's done.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
