Are either of these guys OCC members? I'd like to support our folks if possible.

They are the same guy..... look lower on the Ebay ad. It says to ship to Machtech Direct.

No, he is not associated with OCC, but we have kind of "designated" him the official rebuilder. Endorsed by Sam Mac and I, LOL.

Sweet! OK, once I have confirmed this as the issue I now know where to go to get it fixed. Thank you

Good looking 680 Gene, congrats
Now get that CCC emblem on the grill turned upright, cause it's killing me being upside down...

Wow, can you believe I finally got this home! Picked it up last night. As far as trans fluid, can I pick this up at an auto store? That's the kind of store I'll be closet to today.

Guys, finally got to work some one this tractor. Can you please confirm that the picture is showing the typical wear that JMECH was explaining earlier. I'm pretty sure it is but wanted to check. Also, do I have this thread posted in the correct group?

Save that CCC emblem. Those are hard to find and expensive when you can get one.

Looking good Gene. It's been a while since you posted to when you got to pick it up. To answer your question, This should actually be in the CCC GT section

Got my valves back. Great work. Installed them then rebuilt the carb. Needed a little work right? Hahaha. Installed the carb and it started right up!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
