Sam I agree it is not my tractor of choice but boy it is pretty and I'll never get another in this condition. Hey does any body know if I can hook the hour meter up wrong or break it by reversing the wires I was going to test it by hooking up to a battery.

Pretty sure they are polarity sensitive. This is how it was hooked up on the 1882 that I had.

Charles, that is a very nice machine. I have never seen one in that condition either. If you sell it, you'll wish you hadn't but if you keep it, you'll be afraid to use it and always think about selling it....Gotta love yellow fever!

Oak I agree I think I'm gonna have to sell and look for another 2182 then I would have all the kubota engine Supers (1572,1772,2182). The questions now becomes how much is it worth and should I wait till spring to sell.

I'd wait till spring if you have room to store it for the winter. I see supers of like that on clist all the time in my area between $2200 and $2700 but there in average condition and have a ton of hours on them.

I have seen many asking $2200-$2700 for average tractors, but what do they really sell for. I have sold supers for prices in that range but they were really nice but not as nice as this one. Usually tractors look better in pictures than they really are. In this case it is the opposite pictures do not do this one justice. I am debating putting a new original style seat or leave the new one. I think the new one looks cool and makes the tractor look much newer than it is. The new seat is very comfy I might switch with the seat on my 1572 for mowing. I'm thinking I'll ask $2599.00 if i do sell. I have sold several nice 1872s for $2000 without decks.

Have not had time to mess with it yet. Not sure if it works or not I really only ran up on trailer and off to shed. I plan on checking this weekend. The condition does seem to match the hours.

Finally got the courage to try to post bigger pics seems to work but not sure how to change size or rotate the upside down pic it is right on photobucket. I made my mind up that I am going to sell. If I am going to keep a cyclops it is going to be a 2182 which would give me all the kubota powered supers. I want $2600.00 for it. My rational is that I have sold 1872's for $2300 and they were'nt this nice. If the buyer wants to use the tractor you can't even come close with anything new for $2600 and if you want for collection or shows there is not one thing that needs to be done. This is the nicest unrestored Super I have seen. I know it's not an original seat but I think it looks cooler and it is more comfortable
