			No doubt that would help. I think some header wrap on the tail pipe will do what I need to do. I have a temporary pipe on it at the moment and ran it for a while, seems good. Serviced the engine, then I did a little cleaning on it. First pic shows the warped hood with the exhaust exiting through the grill. Second pic is my temp exhaust. 			I agree with your assessment. My 2186 is a good mower but the twisting and rough ride and general lightness of the entire machine isn't up to the old machines and it was never intended to be. I did as you suggested, I got it so I would have a standby 18hp for my 1864 and have a nice mower in the mean time. It does have a nice tight turn compared to some of my old ones and the deck does a good job.
