You did great! High-quality American iron right there. Like everyone else said the options are worth what you paid.
Half the fun will be getting it up and running. I brought a basket-case 1450 back from the dead and loved every minute of it. There aren't many Cub Cadets around here and friends would drop by as I fixed it up and they were all impressed with the way that machine was built. Congratulations on a great find!

I looked closer and noticed that the gas was one the whole time it sat. (However long that is). AND that It doesn't have a spark plug (Also have no idea how long that was like that). Th gas tank Is rusty but he conveniently had a cub cadet 12hp gas tank he took off a generator (Weird) that he GAVE us.
It'll need a new left spindle because it also sat without a left wheel on so its covered in rust. I may take some parts off that parts 105 I picked up a week or two ago. I don't think I'm going to paint it up. I'm already half way through painting up a 124. I'm going to wash it up and see what else I have to work with. I'll get some more pictures in a bit.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester.
