Well, a 782 is different from a 982.

You need the adapter for the trans? Is that right?

Our member JeffinPA makes them I do believe.

Here is his thread for parts. I don't see them listed, but pretty sure he makes them.

Jeff is making the adapters and you'll need a complete drive shaft from a 1863 or 1864 as I told you in the PM I sent to you. When you talk to Jeff make sure to tell him you need the adapter for the 5/8" round pump shaft. He makes 2 styles, one has splines for the Supers and one has the round hole for the older GT's
