Don't see why not..... I have a sleeve hitch on my 1811. And there is no reason you can't put a cat 0 on any machine you want.
I'm not scared of aluminum rears. ![]() ![]()

CC102PULLER,
I would jump on this regardless of which rear it has. JMECH is right. It is a great machine either way. We don't know what you have planned for this cub and I for one am dying to know more. Keep us posted.

Picked it up yesterday (Sunday). Ive seen 3 582's for sale in my area within the last month of looking for one, and this happened to be the cheapest. My plans is to install a Kubota 3 cyl diesel and build it into a puller.

You are aware of the cost to be competitive with a diesel right? It's pretty expensive. My personal opinion is if your not willing to spend the cash, stick with a gas. It's cheaper to be competitive with a gas, than to even begin a diesel puller build. Just my

yes J-mech but our local club looks to have started a diesel class with just a few tractors right now. All using Kubota engines. Nothing fancy, just having fun.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
