Thanks for the info. I'm starting to think a full tear down and resto-mod are in its future. I want to dig in and learn more about it and I'm thinking that's the way to go. While I'm ignorant on Cubs, I'm fairly well mechanically inclined so I think that just ripping it apart and starting with a frame would be the way to go.
