My old 36 inch blower on a 102 would toss most snow 15 - 20 feet. The wet slushy stuff not so far. Now the 2 stage 451 blower on my cyclops 2084 will toss about 25 - 30 feet nearly any kind of snow, stones, dog chains, beverage cans and possibly small animals the same distance.

A 70 with deck. 2 102s both with 42 in decks, one with creeper, 1 36 inch IH snow thrower CW36, 1 42 inch IH blade. 149 with mower. 2072 w 3 pt hitch, Johnny bucket, 60 in mower, 451 blower. Jacobson GT 10 with mower. DR Lawn vac tow behind,Home made lawn roller. Brinly cart, 2 off brand carts and 1 home made cart.

Here, this is on an 1811, but it's a QA42A blower. Now, the snow is heavy and pretty deep. You can hear how hard that ol' motor is working..... but I was pushing it too.

Here is a QA42 on a 127 from a couple of years ago. The snow was not wet, I guess I would call it fluffy. It works great as long as I can keep feeding it snow.
Also, there was a smaller "speed-up" pulley so the auger spins faster.

I have rebuilt the right angle gear box, plus fixed the throttle and hydro adjust levers. I used to need four hands to operate that thing. Towards the end, you can hear the belt slipping. I have a better belt now

And here is the same snow day. I am clearing the snow that was piled by the road crew, so it is packed. I went a lot slower.
