I have no interest either. Looks like all the other cheap mowers out there. If I were to buy a brand new mower, it definitely wouldn't be a Cub Cadet. Sorry boys, just not impressed with anything after they did away with the metal hood machines. Cyclops was still a great tractor. I just don't like all the plastic. If they had just done fiberglass it would have been fine. Even when they came back out with the metal hoods, the machine's base had taken such a drop in durability, that I have no interest. Nope, I'll keep my old machines, and I'll keep buying and fixing them up. I'll have a whole fleet (and do) for what one of those cheap Chinese pieces of crap go for.

This was my thought process when I posted this. I love to see what Cub Cadet will come out with next.

Yes I'll take a look at it but no, I'll never buy one. I can say this without even seeing it.

The XT3 looks like the existing 2000 with a yellow hood. Some serious engineering had to go into that. Looked at the video the others look like the standard belt drive big box stuff they are already sell short of some cosmetic changes and the blue tooth deal. Yep just gotta have a tractor calling my cell phone telling me it needs an oil change. Give me a break.

Agreed! Without more info or specs on the machines, it looks to be mostly cosmetic at best. New hood, no more white color (booo!!), and a sensor that transmits hours to your phone because that's really all it is, there is no "on board computer" telling your phone oil change intervals, air filter changes, etc. Now when it can tell me how many gallons of fuel I have left, lets me remote start in the winter, tells me my acre/hour rate, etc, then I'll be impressed . Otherwise, it's a new design, new color scheme, and a fancy frame coating; that's about it. Gimmicks to sell machines.

I will continue to visit my garage to view real Cub Cadets. It's incredible the prices for these. I saw an orange Husky at Lowes yesterday for $2200 with a 54" deck, etc, etc that I would buy before any of these.
I'm just be happy that I have some of the old iron to look at and marvel at the materials used in those old IH made tractors. If I really would need just another grass cutter I think I would pay half and get the orange one. I have plenty of the real stuff.

Hmmm, looks like a classic case of form before function. Bold styling, not bold durability. Not that I think it looks that great, lol. The last thing I need on a mower is another gimmick that connects to a phone

The only one that has any eye appeal at all is the xt3, the other 2 look like total garbage. I'd never buy any of them but I would take the xt3 if it were given to me.

They all look like little transformers. Scrap iron and plastic at best.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
