That's interesting and good to know. I didn't realize the wiring changed that much between the two series.

They just keep adding more and more wiring and safety switches with every new generation of machines. Gotta keep those idiots out there safe

The Seat Switches serves two purposes.

(A) Allows the PTO circuit to work
(B) Allows the engine to run.

Attached is a enhanced Seat Switch Circuit that has been simplified.

YES, simply propping something to hold the Brake Pedal down will allow the engine to run. By doing this, it opens the "ground circuit" that would kill the engine.
