I have less than $50.00 invested in this muffler in materials. But..... if you would pay me for my time, you couldn't touch it for $150.00.

Worn out well pumps are free. I just picked up one on Friday. See your local well service man. I bet he's got a stack of them he would love to get rid of.

Nice job Matt. I know what it takes to make something like that from scratch. Takes a while, I like it. Great craftsmanship and way to use the OE mount position too, very cool

Default Muffler design
Here are some drawings of the muffler design. The drawings are not to scale, and my SS muffler doesn't show how I supported the larger pipe in the shell, but this should give you an idea how the original muffler was designed and how my muffler is designed.
