I agree with Roland. Hytran is pricey, but if he changes the fluid once a year, there shouldn't be the sludge buildup that one usually sees. Those are the cubs that haven't had a fluid change for 15-20 years or never had it changed. When I buy a "new" cub, I change all fluids and open up the rearend cause who knows when it was serviced last. After the initial cleanup, the once a year fluid change should do it. Strength shouldn't be compromised. IIRC, the Farmall Cub used the same rear cases and those had plugs.
