I agree, but if the tractor stops, first thing I would do is move levers to get anything hydraulic to move....boom, down goes the plow. I know he didn't say that, but that would be my guess. Hopefully leaving the simple fix of a new spiral pin.

My vote is for the driveshaft. Sudden loss of all hydraulic/hydro function.

It was just a broken roll pin. The one that fits in the linkage between the pulley off the engine and the driveshaft. Thanks for the advice everyone.
