It actually wasn't moist at all. For this job, I put the blade down, and went in reverse. Worked very well.

Glad you figured out to run in reverse to make it smooth. Usually takes people forever to figure that out!! I've watched guys fight and fight a blade. Then you ask, "hey, why don't you turn it around?". Then they wonder why they didn't think of that!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester.
