Nope not yet... just idling in the garage. But that alone was signifigantly better. Remember I am coming from a tore rag joint so anything is better than that vibration. lol

honestly, it was a matter of ignorance. I was impatient and did not get the correct width apparently, I see now this same belt comes in a .44 width which will set down in the grove much better. Thanks for that catch. Now that I know its all good and fit well I will probably order the correct width belt.
Nice find on those headlights. I may just do that, those will help me find the grill from it. I evidently fell off while mowing way out back in the fall ![]() And Sam, all is great on vibration. I blew snow after this last storm and it was smoother than its been in years. Did my drive and two of my neighbors... got a lil carried away, no harm done. lol

Andy
I have a 1572 and I'm going to buy the 40a Kubota alternator for it soon. I just have 1 question about the wiring. There are 2 flat blade terminals on the back of the alternator. The one you connected to the yellow wire. I think this is key on power that the alternator uses as a voltage sensing wire. What wire if any did you hook to the other terminal on the alternator?

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
