For those less fortunate? We went thru there on our way to Ohio on monday, all I could think was the damage it was doing, been there done that a couple of years ago. But it was beautiful, first pic I was trying to capture the sun gleaming thru the ice on the trees, kind of worked, last 2 are what we found when we got home last night, about 10 - 12" more of white stuff that wasn't there when we left. Got some "more" seat time!

Wow!! A definitive winter snow, that's for sure. That would be a great playground for my cubs--hope you're having fun in it and I hope that power is restored quickly to my neighbors up north. Thanks for sharing those pics...

Yes, lots of seat time, guessing I've blown a dozen times, takes me bout half hour. The thing about that amount of snow is that it will all still be here in march, just keep adding to it, we don't seem to get those big thaws after this point in the year.
I heard on the news last night some of those people in mid Michigan might not get power back till next week! Our thoughts are definitely with them!

I really liked the picture of the road. Say what you want about winter but it's a season I enjoy for some reasons, and I wouldn't feel complete without it. I've lived in MI for 29 years and don't plan on moving from this climate for anything.

I'm guessing you liked the picture of my road. It's gravel, about a mile long and runs through a heavily forested area. It's our little bit of paradise.......quiet with wonderful neighbors. Except for a stint in California when I was in the Navy I've lived in MI my whole life and wouldn't move for anything. Happy new year, everyone.

I did notice those beautiful pics, you are truly blessed Bluesman, we moved to our spot almost 15 years ago from the flat lands (and muddy) of northwestern ohio, haven't regretted a minute of it.
Happy New Year Everyone!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
