well lets see if I got this to work. Heres the culprit. you can bearly make out the pins silver edges that I had to cut. Thats looking in from the right side at the drive shaft.

So, you are saying that that pin hit the cross member and kept the shaft from turning when you let out on the clutch? But, yet it didn't kill the motor.....
![]() If that is correct, you better check your clutch! Sounds junk to me. Should have killed it dead. Bare minimum smoke should have been rolling. ![]() |

when I relized I had a problem, I didnt force the issue. Didnt smoke the clutch, didnt hurt the motor. I actually have the thrower working and drove the tractor thru all the gears, hi and low range.

If you had the motor at idle and it didn't kill the engine, something is wrong.

In the pic you posted, the clutch plate isn't even touching the front steel plate. Look to see if the clutch is hung up on the three pin driver. It definitely isn't together right.

sorry, that pic is taken with the brake lever locked down. and yes it did kill the engine at one point at idle.
