Tear it apart, clean it up, replace the O rings and you should be good for another 30 years. I thought I remember about having to replace something in the hydro when you install a lift on a tractor that doesn't have one.

I think they made some with ported pumps for non lift equipped tractors but I'm pretty sure the pressure relief settings are different as Oak mentioned. If after you get the spool valves freed up you may end up swapping pumps or relief valves.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester.
