I had 9 inches for the month of May and 6.8 for June. Needless to say getting the crops in was a motha! But I got it all planted, some isn't growing but at least I can say I did my part. It's shaping up to be a break even year at best. That is unless the USDA gets there head out of there a** and reports the truth that the crops are way under there predictions.
Sorry about my little rant. I'm just frustrated that I've done all I can do and feel disappionted in the weather

Read in the paper today we are 12" above normal for the year, been raining every day almost it seems. More rain is on the way, we are anticipating several more inches over the next few days.. The weather man said terrential rains are expected. Iowa I can say my garden took some doing to get in the dirt, quite a bit of it drowned or washed out particularly my corn. We did pull up two rows of potatoes yesterday everything else is struggling and the USDA wont help me...doesn't seem fair..lol
