Single cylinder Kohlers are noisy, just how they are. Wear some good earplugs and let 'er go.

I make some rubber washers and put on the seat pins, that stops the seat rattle when you are not sitting on it. Every little thing helps.

OK, thanks for all of your replies. I just thought mine was the only 1450 that sounded like it was coming apart. I check the oil before starting each time and no oil loss so I guess I'll just stick with the ear plugs. I am going to replace the rubber engine mounts this winter just to be sure I've got the best in her that's available. Thanks again for all of your supporting comments.
