you know if i had more cash i would get that wrecked dodge for sure....and transplant EVERYTHING into mine.....only if, but im needing something a little on the cheaper side i have found a few 3/4 and 1 ton trucks in a few yards around here on my ventures (a 3/4 ton just happense to be sitting next to a 107 im tring to get) i just gotta call him and work out a deal. the springs arnt that big of a deal considering im going to get a lift on it anyway. but who knows this weekend i might be coming home with a truck and a cub inthe back of it we will see.

Hummm... Considering your constraints, I'm back to thinking you should repair your 1/2 ton, sell it, and snatch the truck you really want with the proceeds + some coin...
...my dream rig is an '06 Dodge Cummins, yet I don't have it... Rome wasn't built in a day.

im not worried about time on doing it, my last swap took me almost a year before i had all the parts...piece by piece it makes it feel like its cheaper for me i guess lol... the right deal will come along eventualy. ive just dangerously overloaded this half ton more then once which is probably what led to what happened today.

You don't have to tell me about labor of love...
I bet most folks on here know that tale all too well! I'm over invested in just about everything in my life...You have put me on a thought that I've had in the past, and acted on... Sounds like it's time for a utility trailer... Who cares if you crush the springs an smash the deck on some $200 hunk of junk? (I literally paid $200 for my 6'x12', built on a Coleman Camper registration, and it IS a hunk of junk... Still moves the wood!) |

Never heard of a Dodge doing that but, you never now. Put some Dana 80's on and you will be good to go.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
