I did not read many books when I was young, but, I read this one several times in my life
http://www.amazon.com/Mover-Men-Moun.../dp/0802438180 He pretty much invented it!!, And he was the first one to discover the benefit of pneumatic tires on a soil mover. He had to trick customers into buying them!! ![]() ANYBODY that likes Cub Cadets would enjoy that book,,,,

I could really use something like that around here. Would be great for keeping the round-pen straightened up and keeping the road to my storage garage smoothed out.

That sure would make quick work of the ruts and bumps construction left in my yard. Looks heavy duty like you should have a tracked cub conversion pulling it. Nice find

If I remember the company is still in business but only make the bigger ones now. I did try it behind my Allis 416 last year. Worked good up until the axle snapped at the hub. The local clay sure is heavy. I am going to try it again when I get some sort three point lift on one of my Cubs. The rears and axles are just heavier. Will most certainly need a set of Extreme braces as well.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
